Lynk & Co has officially unveiled its flagship plug-in hybrid crossover, the 900, setting new benchmarks in performance, efficiency, and technology.
Equipped with a Freevoy 52.38 kWh battery from CATL, the Lynk & Co 900 delivers an impressive 280 km of electric range under CLTC conditions. The vehicle also features cutting-edge 4C charging technology, allowing it to charge from 20 to 80% in just 17 minutes. With up to 845 horsepower and an advanced hybrid system extending the total range to 1,443 km, the Lynk & Co 900 enters the market as one of the most capable and technologically advanced plug-in hybrid SUVs.
Powertrain and Performance
The Lynk & Co 900 offers three hybrid powertrain configurations, each designed to balance power and fuel efficiency. The entry-level version features a 1.5-liter engine combined with two electric motors, producing a total output of 711 horsepower. The mid-tier variant upgrades to a 2-liter internal combustion engine paired with two electric motors, boosting power to 724 horsepower. The range-topping model takes performance to extreme levels, featuring a 2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and three electric motors, delivering an astonishing 845 horsepower. This allows the crossover to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just four seconds, positioning it among the fastest hybrid SUVs on the market.
Beyond its impressive power figures, the 900 is designed for long-range travel. The Freevoy battery enables an electric-only range of 280 km, while the hybrid system extends the total driving range to an impressive 1,443 km. The inclusion of 4C charging technology ensures that the battery can recharge quickly, significantly reducing downtime on long journeys.
Design and Technology
The Lynk & Co 900 presents a bold and refined exterior, drawing inspiration from high-end luxury SUVs. Built on the SPA Evo platform, it measures 5240 mm in length, 1999 mm in width, and 1810 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3160 mm. This generous footprint provides ample space for passengers while ensuring a commanding road presence.
