Lynk & Co, a brand under China’s Geely Group, has announced its new Lynk & Co 10 EM-P, a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version of the electric Z10 sedan, ahead of its official launch in the Chinese market scheduled for Q3 2025. The vehicle features a large size and modern design inspired by the concept car The Next Day, equipped with all-wheel drive and two electric motors, along with an electric range of up to 192 kilometers.

Exterior Design and Dimensions

The Lynk & Co 10 EM-P retains the design language of the electric Z10, featuring distinctive daytime running lights integrated into the front bumper, elegant air intakes, hidden door handles to reduce drag, frameless mirrors, and a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor to enhance smart driving capabilities.

The car measures 5050 mm in length, 1966 mm in width, and 1487 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3005 mm, positioning it to compete with large sedans like the BMW 5 Series G60. It offers wheel options of 19 or 21 inches and weighs between 2137 and 2257 kg depending on the battery size.

Engine and Drivetrain

The Lynk & Co 10 EM-P is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine (BHE15-CFZ) with a high thermal efficiency of 46.1%, producing a maximum power of 120 kW (161 hp). This engine is paired with two electric motors to provide a strong all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, although the company has not yet disclosed the total system output.

Batteries and Electric Range

The vehicle is available with two lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery options:

  • An 18.4 kWh battery offering an electric range of up to 100 km under the CLTC standard, with a fuel consumption of 5.27 liters per 100 km.

  • A larger 38.2 kWh battery providing an electric range of up to 192 km, with a fuel consumption of 5.47 liters per 100 km.

Technology and Smart Driving Systems

The Lynk & Co 10 EM-P is equipped with the Qianli Haohan H7 driver assistance system, which includes one LiDAR radar, 11 cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, 5 millimeter-wave radars, and the new NVIDIA Thor processor with 700 teraflops (TOPS) of computing power. This setup supports high-speed navigation, urban navigation, and automated parking assistance.

Dynamics and Comfort

The car features a double-wishbone front suspension and a five-link rear suspension, with an adjustable air suspension system that can raise the vehicle by up to 100 mm, ensuring high comfort and stability during driving. The interior offers spaciousness and luxury equipped with the latest technologies.
