Nissan has long been a leader in the electric vehicle sector, yet in certain markets, particularly the U.S., it still offers older models like the Ariya and the previous Leaf. However, in China, the scenario is markedly different, with a new trend of electric vehicles emerging.

Nissan has unveiled its new N7 electric sedan in China, showcasing innovation and style in the electric vehicle market.

At the Guangzhou Auto Show, Nissan's joint venture with Dongfeng introduced the brand new N7 electric sedan. This mid-size sedan draws inspiration from the previously showcased concept model, Epoch, featuring an astonishingly sleek design that closely mirrors the P7 model. The front fascia is simple and modern, boasting a slim light bar and fang-like headlights, along with a broad lower air intake and what appears to be a lit Nissan emblem.

At the rear, the car's streamlined body design is complemented by flush door handles and a large glass area. Designers have added glossy black accents, a rear light bar, and two-tone wheels, enhancing the overall stylish appearance.

In terms of dimensions, the sedan measures 4930 mm in length, 1895 mm in width, and 1487 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2915 mm. This means the N7 is 50 mm longer than the P7, but the wheelbase is shorter by 83 mm.

Although Nissan has not released images of the interior, the sedan will feature “AI-powered seats,” which are covered in a material that feels soft as silk and come with an adaptive adjustment system that appears to modify the seat position based on data from 49 sensors.
