Nissan has succeeded in obtaining the Guinness World Record for the highest car bungee jump in history with a thrilling car bungee challenge in Puteaux, France. It was aimed at promoting the new Qashqai e-Power.
The car and bungee cord remained intact throughout the entire fall from a height of about 65 meters (213 feet), meeting the Guinness World Records certification criteria.
To ensure safety, Nissan used a special cage to secure the vehicle and invited professional race car driver and stuntman Laurent Lasko to operate from the driver's seat.
