In the latest automotive industry news, Samaco Automotive, the dealer for Volkswagen, Porsche, and other German brands in the Saudi market, has officially announced the signing of a new sponsorship deal with the Al-Ittihad Club. According to the agreement, Samaco will provide a range of Volkswagen vehicles for the club's male and female players for their daily transportation during the contract period.
The contract spans two seasons, establishing Samaco as the official automotive partner of Al-Ittihad Club. The Volkswagen logo will be prominently displayed on the front of the men's team jerseys and on the shoulder of the women's jerseys. The contract signing ceremony was attended by Portuguese player Danilo Pereira and Serbian player Raikovic, who wore the club's jerseys adorned with the new logo.
Samaco will provide models such as the Volkswagen Touareg, Teramont, and T-Roc for the players of Al-Ittihad. Al-Ittihad Club president Louai Mashabi emphasized the club's success in attracting numerous important companies looking to leverage the club's popularity to reach various demographics both within and outside Saudi Arabia. The Volkswagen logo will also feature prominently on social media platforms and in Saudi media outlets. Mashabi stated that efforts are ongoing to attract more new companies to sponsor the club. Meanwhile, Samaco's CEO Mohammed Rafah reiterated that Al-Ittihad Club has a rich history and a commendable presence, assuring continued support from Samaco for sports throughout its history.
