This new vehicle, named Tata Prima 4440.S AMT, is not only renowned for its exceptional reliability and performance but also for its remarkable mileage. Additionally, Tata Motors showcased five of its high-performance products at the Heavy Equipment and Trucks Exhibition in Dammam, all meticulously designed and engineered to meet local demands and accommodate various applications.
The Tata Prima 4440.S AMT truck is described by the company as perfectly suited for container transport and can also serve as a carrier for cars and heavy equipment.
Along with its powerful and fuel-efficient automatic transmission, this truck features numerous intelligent functionalities, such as load-based cruise control, acceleration management system, and an automatic start-stop system to enhance fuel efficiency.
This truck, powered by a Euro-V compliant 8.9-liter Cummins engine, generates 400 horsepower and 1700 Newton-meters of torque, ensuring ample power to tackle the heaviest loads and the toughest terrains.
The truck is equipped with an air suspension system to improve ride comfort, handling, and durability. The modern cabin, equipped with a comfortable seat and a telescopic tilt steering wheel, adds to the driver's comfort, thereby increasing productivity.
