When Reema Juffali dreamed of being on a racetrack as a girl in Jeddah—at a time when women couldn’t legally drive—nobody could have imagined she would become both Saudi Arabia’s first female racing driver and founder of a pioneering national team. Established in 2022, Theeba Motorsport set out to do more than chase trophies: with a progressive, inclusive vision, it aims to develop Saudi racing talent, promote local engineering, and provide youth pathways from karting to the international GT stage. All under the leadership of a woman who has inspired thousands and given Saudi women and men new dreams on the tarmac.

Who Is Reema Juffali—And What Is Theeba Motorsport?
Born in Jeddah in 1992, Reema made history in 2018 as the first Saudi female professional racing driver, taking to the track only a month after the ban on women driving was lifted.
Her ambition was to create a platform where Saudi drivers and engineers could hone their skills, network internationally, and compete globally.
She launched Theeba Motorsport in 2022 as the first Saudi race team led by a woman, blending education, youth empowerment, and the dream of one day starting Le Mans under the Saudi flag.

A Dream Crossing Boundaries
At a Riyadh school outreach event, a young Saudi girl saw Theeba’s car and asked Reema Juffali, “Could I ever be a racer?”
Reema replied, I never thought I’d be here either, but now I open the door for you and every Saudi girl.
From that moment, a small hope became a plan. And so, one drop of ambition became a current of achievement.
