Once again, Toyota proves to be the most popular car brand in the Kingdom, thanks to its reputation for durability and long lasting quality that Saudi drivers have trusted for decades.

  • Sales: 153,510 units sold in the first eight months of 2025


    Toyota’s lineup in Saudi Arabia remains one of the most diverse in the market, including sedans like Camry and Corolla, along with SUVs such as Land Cruiser and Prado, both highly favored by off road enthusiasts. Meanwhile, the Hilux pickup continues to strengthen its position among commercial and family users alike, thanks to its practical performance and exceptional reliability.


Toyota’s ongoing success comes from its consistent balance of Japanese engineering excellence and modern innovation. The inclusion of advanced safety technologies like Toyota Safety Sense has made it a top choice for buyers seeking confidence, comfort, and peace of mind on Saudi roads.

Hyundai and Kia Strengthen the Korean Presence in Saudi Arabia


Hyundai achieved a remarkable performance in the Saudi market during 2025 thanks to a diverse range of models that combine elegant design with strong value for money.

  • Sales: 82,993 units

Models like Tucson, Elantra, and Sonata are well known for their modern styling and advanced technologies, offering reliable performance that appeals to different types of Saudi drivers. The brand also continues to expand its presence in the electric vehicle segment with the latest Ioniq lineup, reflecting Hyundai’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.


Kia, on the other hand, maintained its steady success with a wide variety of models including Sportage, Sorento, and Cerato.

  • Sales: 46,289 units

Kia cars are recognized for their dependability, easy maintenance, and refined interiors that add a touch of luxury within their segments. Meanwhile, Ford claimed the fifth spot with 30,330 units sold, thanks to its powerful and luxurious lineup. Models like the Expedition and F-150 stand out for their strength and off road performance, earning Ford a loyal fan base among Saudi enthusiasts. The American brand is also working to expand its hybrid and electric portfolio in line with the global shift toward sustainable mobility.

  • Suzuki: Achieved 25,474 units, supported by popular models like the Jimny and Swift, which combine compact size with excellent fuel efficiency and practicality.

  • Mazda: Reached 24,121 units, with standout models such as the CX-5 and Mazda6 offering an engaging driving experience and elegant styling that reflects the brand’s signature Kodo Design philosophy.

Changan and MG Lead the Rise of Chinese Automakers in Saudi Arabia


Chinese manufacturers have proven their growing strength in the Saudi market by offering vehicles that combine competitive pricing, advanced features, and modern design.

  • Changan: Sold 15,634 units during the first eight months of 2025, gaining popularity with models like the CS75 Plus and CS35 Plus, known for their bold styling and reliability.

  • MG: Secured the tenth position with 13,216 units, driven by models such as the MG5 and MG RX5, which deliver a perfect blend of comfort, technology, and affordability.


These figures highlight the steady rise of Chinese brands in Saudi Arabia, backed by long term strategies focusing on improved quality, extended warranties, and increasing consumer trust among Saudi drivers.
