This dynamic sedan is set to replace the beloved Mazda 6 in the Chinese market. Although Mazda initially withheld details about its technical specifications, the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has now shared crucial insights into this innovative vehicle. 
Performance Highlights
The fully electric Mazda EZ-6 boasts a robust lithium-ion phosphate battery, delivering an impressive 258 horsepower. With a top speed of 170 km/h and an electric range of 600 kilometers per charge, this model promises exhilarating performance. The collaboration with Changan for production in China ensures a seamless integration of technology and design.
For those interested in the hybrid option, the EZ-6 features a 1.5-liter gasoline engine generating 95 horsepower, paired with a powerful electric motor that contributes an additional 218 horsepower. While the total output is yet to be confirmed, this variant is expected to reach a top speed of 170 km/h and an overall range of 1000 kilometers.

Mazda aims to launch the EZ-6 in China before the year's end, featuring an array of luxurious specifications including a 14.6-inch central infotainment display, opulent ambient lighting with 64 color options, a premium Sony audio system with 14 speakers, and a stunning panoramic sunroof, among other high-end features.
