The Mercedes E-Class has welcomed a new hybrid variant from AMG, called the E53 Hybrid 2024, available in both sedan and wagon designs. This model features a more aggressive exterior compared to the standard version, along with special chassis modifications and various mechanical enhancements.
Power Exceeding 600 Horsepower
The new AMG E53 Hybrid combines a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine generating 449 horsepower with an electric motor producing 163 horsepower, resulting in a total output of 585 horsepower and a torque of 750 Nm. Additionally, with the purchase of the AMG Plus dynamic package, the power can be boosted to 612 horsepower, with power distributed to all four wheels.

Impressive Acceleration
The sporty sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, while the wagon variant achieves the same speed in 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 280 km/h. It can also drive purely on electric power for over 100 kilometers at a maximum speed of 140 km/h.
Special AMG Modifications

As expected, the new E53 Hybrid is equipped with a range of special AMG modifications, including a more stable chassis, a sportier and more responsive suspension system, larger brakes, and standard rear steering. An optional electronic locking differential is also available for the rear axle.

The E53 Hybrid also boasts bolder aesthetic touches, including a unique illuminated grille exclusive to AMG, larger air intakes in the front bumper, and new 20 or 21-inch wheels. Inside, the vehicle features new sports seats with synthetic leather and elegant red stitching, complemented by luxurious Nappa leather on the new AMG-designed sports steering wheel.
Future Variants
Finally, it is worth noting that Mercedes is preparing to unveil an even more powerful variant of the E-Class, named the AMG E63, although the company has remained tight-lipped about its specifications and performance figures for now.
