Zeekr continues to strengthen its presence in the electric vehicle world by introducing major updates to the new Zeekr 7X. The latest version comes with larger batteries, stronger motors, and advanced driver assistance systems. These upgrades highlight the brand’s focus on meeting the demands of fast growing global markets, especially in the GCC, where long range EVs supported by modern charging networks are gaining attention.

Dimensions and Weight

The updated Zeekr 7X keeps the same exterior size, positioning it firmly in the mid to large electric SUV segment:

  • Length: 4,825 mm

  • Width: 1,930 mm

  • Height: 1,666 mm

  • Wheelbase: 2,925 mm

The curb weight ranges between 2,280 kg and 2,470 kg depending on the trim, making it a solid option for drivers seeking a premium EV that combines spacious comfort with strong road presence.

Smart Driving Technologies

Zeekr focused on elevating driver assistance in the updated 7X. The new model introduces a roof mounted lidar to support advanced systems, while selected trims will be equipped with the Nvidia Thor-U chip, enabling a wide range of intelligent features such as:

  • Highway Navigation on Autopilot (NOA)

  • City NOA for semi autonomous urban driving

  • Multi scenario assisted parking

These additions reflect the rising demand in the UAE for semi autonomous vehicles that deliver both safety and convenience behind the wheel.

Powertrain and Performance

The new Zeekr 7X also brings stronger motor options to enhance power and traction. Buyers will have two main choices:

  • Rear wheel drive: 370 kW (496 hp) rear motor

  • All wheel drive: additional 215 kW (288 hp) front motor for better grip

With these upgrades, the 7X is now positioned to satisfy drivers who want strong performance alongside efficiency in their electric SUV.

Battery Options and Range

Zeekr has introduced larger and more versatile battery packs in the new 7X:

  • 103 kWh pack: driving range of up to 802 km, 770 km, or 715 km depending on the trim

  • 75 kWh pack: driving range between 600 km and 620 km

The company also confirmed that some models will feature a 900V charging system, enabling significantly faster charging times compared to conventional EVs, making daily use more convenient.

Comparison with the Previous Model

When compared to the outgoing version, the difference is clear:

  • Previous RWD: 310 kW (416 hp) with 440 Nm of torque

  • Previous AWD: additional 165 kW (221 hp) front motor

  • Battery packs: 75 kWh LFP and 100 kWh NCM

  • Driving range: 605 km, 705 km, and 780 km

These updates highlight how Zeekr has refined the 7X to deliver stronger performance and greater efficiency, with noticeable gains in range and overall capability.

Design and Extra Options

Zeekr will offer 7X buyers a range of options to enhance personalization:

  • Alloy wheels available in 19, 20, and 21 inches with multiple designs

  • Red brake calipers for a sporty touch

  • Retractable tow hook (towing capacity yet to be disclosed)

These choices give owners greater freedom to tailor the SUV to their preferences, whether focusing on efficiency, visual appeal, or practical use.

Zeekr 7X in GCC Markets

In China, the current 7X is priced between 229,900 and 269,900 yuan (around 118,000 to 135,000 AED). Official GCC prices have not yet been announced, but with Zeekr’s global expansion, the 7X is expected to be introduced in the region.

With its extended driving range, fast charging capability, and advanced technologies, the new 7X positions itself as an ideal choice for GCC customers closely following the growth of electric vehicles supported by strong regulations and rapidly expanding charging infrastructure.
