    2024 BAIC BJ40 Plus in-depth Walkaround The Beijing BAIC BJ40 Plus is an off-road vehicle produced by BAIC Motor. Initially branded directly as a BAIC product, the vehicle series was later rebranded under the Beijing name. The BJ40 Plus is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with a displacement of 2000 cc. It delivers an engine power of 218 hp at 5500 rpm and a torque of 320 Nm at 4500 rpm. The engine features four cylinders and a turbocharger. In terms of performance, the vehicle has a maximum speed of 160 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 15.1 seconds. The BJ40 Plus has a six-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system. The steering system is power-assisted with a rack and pinion gear type, offering a minimum turning radius of 40.5 feet. The front suspension is a double wishbone type, while the rear suspension features a five-link design with coil springs. In terms of dimensions, the BJ40 Plus measures 4,350 mm in length, 1,834 mm in width, and 1,834 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,745 mm and a ground clearance of 210 mm.
