2024 Geely Galaxy E5 in-depth Walkaround The 2024 Geely Galaxy E5 is an all-electric compact SUV that offers two battery options: a 49.52 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) pack and a 60.22 kWh LFP pack. The smaller battery provides a CLTC-rated range of 440 km, while the larger pack extends the range to 530 km. Geely claims the Galaxy E5 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 6.9 seconds. Under the hood, the Galaxy E5 features a front-mounted electric motor generating 218 PS (215 hp or 160 kW) and 320 Nm of torque. The SUV measures 4,615 mm in length, 1,901 mm in width, and 1,670 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. It is available with either 18-inch or 19-inch wheels. Inside, the Galaxy E5 boasts up to 4.03 square meters of interior space, providing ample room for passengers and cargo. The SUV is built on Geely's Geely Electric Architecture (GEA) platform, which incorporates a cell-to-body (CTB) design that fully integrates the battery into the vehicle's body shell for improved efficiency and performance.
