Are you torn between the G80 and the Mercedes E? I'm currently driving an XC60, and honestly, Volvo's resale value in the domestic market is disappointing. I initially thought I wouldn't care and would drive it for 10 years, but the reality is that I'm planning to switch in less than 7 years. Considering the future resale value of the G80, I'm a bit conflicted.

I want to ask everyone, I'm planning to buy a used Levante, 2.0T. What's the fuel consumption like in the city? (I care about fuel economy, if I didn't, I wouldn't be considering a used car.)
Hello everyone! I bought a Jeep Compass in 2017. The dealership initially said this car requires 95 octane fuel, and I've been using it since 2017. However, when I drive, there's a jerking sensation when I decelerate and then accelerate again. Also, when I turn on the air conditioning, the engine noise becomes particularly loud. My car has less than 30,000 kilometers and I mainly use it for commuting. Recently, I tried using 92 octane fuel, but I found that the power was insufficient. When I tried to overtake, the car wouldn't accelerate, unlike when using 95 octane. So, I'm wondering, what fuel do you all use? Which type is better for the car?
Seeking advice for my first car (also just starting to drive). Budget around 400,000 RMB. Should I choose the Genesis with options or the new BMW 5 Series? I'm almost 35 and might have a child in the next 1-2 years. I feel like the Genesis doesn't have enough rear space, but I'm really attracted to its looks. The new 5 Series is quite controversial, but recently it's had significant price cuts, so I can afford the top trim, and it holds its value better. Could you guys help me decide?
4I've been driving a Touran for 7 years, and it's time for a change. I'm looking for recommendations based on my needs. Here's what I'm looking for: I commute 25km one way to work, and there's no fixed parking spot in my community. The city is crowded, which tests my driving skills, so the car can't be too big. I'd like a space for a nap at noon, so electric or plug-in hybrids are preferred. We are a family of three, and we often take the kid out on weekends, so the car's stability and smooth driving are important as my family gets car sick easily. I often take care of the kid alone, and since the kid is not very strong, an electric sliding door would be great. My kid likes camping in the car, so it needs to have ample space. Occasionally, I need to move things between houses, so flexible space is a plus. Since my wife doesn't drive, we can only have one car. Right now, it seems like the GAC E8 is the only option 🤣

6Seeking advice on buying a car. Currently driving a Mercedes E-Class. My business is stable, earning 20,000 daily, working all year round. I’d like to ask about the comfort level of the Porsche Panamera Executive compared to the Mercedes E-Class. I'm only 35, and moving to a Mercedes S-Class feels like admitting I'm getting old. I value comfort a lot, and buying two cars seems too wasteful.
7I'm planning to buy a Panamera soon. Initially, I was considering a regular Panamera with options totaling around 140. But I recently discovered that the new Active Ride can only be selected on the e-Hybrid, which is about 16 more expensive even if I forgo some options. Can any owners share whether the Active Ride feature is worth the money? Is it cost-effective?
8This car is already six years old. Not sure how many more years it can last, as small issues are increasing and fuel economy is getting worse. The resale value is very low.
9Does the G80 have any interior odors? I used to drive an XC60, and it didn't have any smell at all—the cabin was very comfortable. However, Volvo's soundproofing isn't great. I took a ride in a car-hailing service today, and there was an indescribable odor inside the car. Not sure if it was a plastic smell or something else, but even though it was faint, it made sitting inside uncomfortable. I don't know how the driver tolerates it. I test drove the G80 and noticed a bit of a smell, but it wasn't unpleasant. It definitely can't compare to a new Volvo. I'm curious if the smell will still be there after one or two months. With my previous XC60, even after being parked under the sun, there was no noticeable odor inside. Any G80 owners care to share their experience?
10Is the car's resale value really like this, or is the dealership just talking nonsense? I took my dad to look at cars and was curious, so I had them estimate my 2021 Octavia Pro Premium. I bought it at the end of 2021, and it has a bit over 30,000 kilometers now. They estimated it at only 40,000? Unbelievable, losing 40,000 in a year! [facepalm][facepalm][facepalm]
