Is it necessary to do wheel alignment after picking up the car? I did some research and found that issues with the camber angle can lead to inner tire wear. Not sure if the new model has this problem?

Tesla employees replied that the old models need it, but the new models have improved rear suspension, so it's not necessary anymore.

I suggest you get your vehicle's alignment checked, as it pulls to the right straight off the line.

How to connect Bluetooth on Jeep Compass, step-by-step: 1. Turn on the Jeep Compass and ensure that your Bluetooth device is also turned on and discoverable. 2. On the vehicle's infotainment system, navigate to the Bluetooth settings menu. This is usually found under "Settings" or "Phone" options. 3. Select "Add Device" or "Pair New Device" from the Bluetooth menu. 4. On your Bluetooth device (like a smartphone), go to the Bluetooth settings and search for new devices. 5. When you see "Jeep Compass" or a similar name appear in the list of available devices, select it to initiate the pairing process. 6. A confirmation code might appear on both the infotainment screen and your device. Ensure the codes match and confirm the pairing on both the vehicle and your device. 7. Once paired, your device should connect automatically whenever you start the vehicle in the future, as long as Bluetooth is enabled on your device. If you encounter issues, make sure both the vehicle and device have the latest software updates, and try restarting both if necessary.

When buying a 2008 Yaris, here are some areas you should check: 1. **Exterior and Interior Condition**: Inspect for any signs of rust, dents, or scratches on the exterior. Check the interior for wear and tear, especially the seats, dashboard, and electronics. 2. **Engine and Transmission**: Listen for any unusual noises from the engine and ensure that the transmission shifts smoothly. Look for any leaks or corrosion. 3. **Brakes and Tires**: Check the condition of the brakes and ensure the tires have sufficient tread and are evenly worn. 4. **Suspension and Steering**: Test the suspension and steering for any unusual noises or stiffness. 5. **Electrical Systems**: Make sure all lights, indicators, and other electrical components are functioning properly. 6. **Service History**: Review the vehicle’s service history to ensure it has been well-maintained. After purchasing the car, here are some maintenance tips: 1. **Oil Change**: Start with an oil and oil filter change if it’s not recently done. 2. **Replace Air Filters**: Check and replace both the engine and cabin air filters if necessary. 3. **Check Fluids**: Ensure that all fluids (coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, etc.) are topped up and in good condition. 4. **Inspect Belts and Hoses**: Look for any signs of wear and replace if needed. 5. **Battery Check**: Ensure the battery is in good condition and clean the terminals if there is any corrosion. 6. **Spark Plugs**: Consider replacing the spark plugs if they haven’t been changed recently. 7. **Tire Maintenance**: Rotate the tires and check wheel alignment. By taking these steps, you’ll help ensure that your Yaris remains reliable and performs well.

After changing to new tires, the steering feels heavier. I always used Continental CPC2, but switched to Goodyear Assurance (also did a wheel alignment). It doesn't veer off course, but the steering feels heavier, and the accelerator is also heavier. For those who've changed tires, how do you feel about it? Also, a reminder: wheel alignment is a maintenance service, not mandatory. If you choose to do it, make sure to check the shop's equipment and skills. I feel it wasn't really necessary this time.

Jetur X70, 2020 model. I started having a coolant leak, and when pressure was applied, the leak point was found. The four-way valve was replaced, and the heating pipe and water inlet pipe were tightened. It was also discovered that the water pump was leaking, and eventually, everything was replaced. However, after refilling the coolant, the mechanic found that the engine temperature was high, but it drops as soon as the heater is turned on. They spent half a day but couldn't find the problem, and the car not being fixed has caused a lot of issues. Have you encountered this before? How did you handle it?

My Kodiaq's rear inner tires are wearing unevenly and noticeably. The repair shop says the lower arm needs to be replaced because it's not an adjustable one, so four-wheel alignment can't be done. Does anyone know if this is correct?

My Kodiaq's rear tire is wearing unevenly, with noticeable wear on the inner side. The repair shop says I need to replace the lower arm because it can't be adjusted, and then do a four-wheel alignment. Is this the case?

Has anyone done a wheel alignment? My City has uneven wear on the left rear tire and slightly pulls to one side. I've heard that the City’s rear wheels are non-adjustable and you can only add shims during alignment. Is this safe? Also, is it necessary to do a wheel alignment since the tires are quite cheap? 🤦‍♂️

Look, I'm one of those people who did a lot of research before buying a car. I tried everything from the Geely StarRay to the Nissan Sentra and the Volkswagen Jetta. But in the end, I went back to the classics and chose the 2021 Toyota Corolla 1.2T Plus—because, quite simply, it doesn't come with problems, and that's the most important thing for someone in their 30s with a job, a home, and responsibilities. I bought it with a few extras thrown in, like LED headlights, parking sensors, window tinting, floor mats, and 7 free maintenance services. The car won't blow your mind or steal your heart, but it’ll stick with you and do its job. It's comfortable, smooth, has solid suspension, and its performance is more than enough for daily drives—you don’t need to fly. The interior is simple but comfy. The console doesn’t have CarPlay, but it's not the end of the world—I just connect it via Wi-Fi and that’s it. Fuel consumption is around 6.3L per 100 km, and I drive calmly. In short, the Corolla isn’t the best car in everything, but it's probably the one with the least headaches—and that matters more than fancy specs or a big screen.
