The UAE market has officially welcomed the all new Kia Tasman pickup, marking the Korean brand’s first entry into the light truck segment locally. Entering one of the region’s most competitive categories, the Tasman delivers an exceptional blend of robust performance, bold design, and interior comfort, topped with advanced technology. Kia has launched the Tasman in a variety of trims to appeal to a wide range of buyers, starting from AED 118,290 for the base LX model. The lineup also includes EX and EX-Top trims, which will offer enhanced features, though pricing is yet to be revealed. For thrill seekers and off road enthusiasts, the X-Line and X-Pro variants start at AED 178,000 and come equipped with off-road enhancements to tackle rugged terrains with ease.

The Kia Tasman offers two powerful engine choices tailored to meet a wide range of driving needs. The first is a 2.5 liter turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 281 horsepower and 421 Nm of torque, paired with either an 8 speed automatic or a 6 speed manual transmission.
The second option is a 2.2 liter turbo diesel engine producing 210 horsepower and 441 Nm of torque. This version is available with optional all wheel drive, boosting its off road credentials. Both engines can reach a top speed of 185 km/h and come equipped with advanced features such as hydraulic rebound stops, dedicated terrain driving modes, and a locking rear differential to maximize performance under tough conditions.

The Tasman is engineered with practical dimensions to suit a variety of uses. In the UAE market, the Tasman goes head to head with established rivals like the Toyota Hilux, Mitsubishi L200, Nissan Navara, and Volkswagen Amarok.
