Audi has officially unveiled its latest luxury electric vehicle, the Q6 e-Tron SUV, designed on the innovative PPE platform developed in partnership with Porsche. This advanced platform enhances performance and charging speed, positioning the Q6 e-Tron as a strong contender against sporty coupes.
Performance Highlights
The Q6 e-Tron will launch with two key variants: the Q6 e-Tron Quattro, delivering 456 horsepower, and the flagship SQ6 variant, which offers an impressive 510 horsepower, capable of sprinting from 0 to 96 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. This remarkable acceleration is particularly impressive for a vehicle of this size, primarily featuring rear-wheel drive.
The Q6 e-Tron boasts an electric range of 482 kilometers on a single charge, a figure that, while somewhat modest, is adequate for urban driving. It also supports ultra-fast charging, allowing drivers to replenish 70% of the battery in just 21 minutes.
Design and Innovative Features
This luxury SUV showcases a familiar design language seen across Audi models, enhanced with distinctive front-end features including a unique grille and sleek headlamps. Overall, the Q6 e-Tron presents a more appealing aesthetic compared to rivals like the Mercedes EQE SUV.
One of the standout features is the world’s first “active digital lighting technology,” allowing the front and rear lights to create customizable patterns for various notifications, such as alerting other road users or indicating when the driver is about to open a door.
The interior is designed to embody true luxury, featuring a spacious and elegantly crafted three-dimensional layout. It includes a 14.5-inch infotainment screen paired with an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, with options for an additional 10.9-inch screen for the front passenger and a heads-up display utilizing augmented reality for enhanced navigation and vital information presentation.

While Audi has yet to announce official pricing, it is anticipated that the Q6 e-Tron will start at approximately $65,000 in the U.S., with the SQ6 variant potentially reaching around $80,000.
