Based on last year's Skytop concept, this exceptional model introduces a new design dimension with its extended roofline that gives it the stance of a sporty hatchback wrapped in refined elegance. The BMW Speedtop’s exterior design channels the bold spirit of its sibling, the Skytop, with a front fascia that exudes aggression and confidence. Slim headlights flank a sharply contoured nose, centered by an illuminated kidney grille adorned with horizontal lines that accentuate the car’s upscale sporty character. A fluid character line runs seamlessly from the front to the rear, adding muscular definition to the sides and reinforcing the car’s planted, powerful stance.
The most striking design distinction lies in the roofline, which sweeps gracefully toward the rear to form a distinctive shooting brake silhouette. This extension offers a refined balance between utility and luxury. Echoing the raised central ridge of the hood, a prominent spine continues along the roof and flows into the rear spoiler, creating a striking visual harmony. The body paint is no less dramatic, with a unique gradient that transitions from a rich Floating Sunstone Maroon at the front to a silvery Floating Sundown Silver at the rear, offering a bold and exclusive finish.

The sense of sophistication is elevated through a carefully curated color scheme, with deep maroon leather covering the dashboard, center console, and upper door panels, contrasted by Moonstone White leather on the seats and lower door sections for a visually striking effect.
A slim ambient light strip runs across the headliner, echoing the raised central spine on the car’s roof, while Speedtop emblems are subtly placed throughout the interior to emphasize its rare and exclusive identity. At the rear, traditional seating has been replaced by two leather trimmed shelves, each featuring finely crafted straps to secure luggage, while the trunk itself is fully lined in leather and surrounded by soft LED lighting, creating a cargo area as elegant as the cabin itself.
To complete the experience, BMW partnered with Italian luxury leather specialist Schedoni to create a custom set of luggage for the Speedtop, including two cabin storage bags and a larger travel duffel, all designed to perfectly match the vehicle’s upscale aesthetics and meticulous detailing.

While BMW has not officially disclosed full powertrain details, it confirmed that the Speedtop is equipped with the most powerful V8 engine currently available in its lineup. All signs point to the same twin turbocharged 4.4 liter V8 found in the Skytop, delivering 617 horsepower and paired with an eight speed automatic transmission and intelligent all wheel drive. As for production, BMW plans to build only 70 units of the Speedtop, surpassing the Skytop’s limited run of 50. Order books are now officially open, and pricing is expected to exceed 500,000 USD (1.8 million AED).
