Huawei unveils 550-horsepower luxury sedan to compete with Mercedes-Benz S-Class

    The new electric sedan S9 unveiled, under the luxury Serato brand, which Huawei has recently established in collaboration with BAIC Group.

    Huawei aims to compete directly with the Mercedes S-Class and BMW 7 Series with the new Serato S9, which is equipped with a single electric motor generating 304 horsepower in the base model. There is also a high-performance version that combines a rear motor of 304 horsepower with a front motor producing 211 horsepower, resulting in a total output of 515 horsepower.

    Key Features of Huawei's New Luxury Sedan

    The vehicle features digital rearview mirrors, hidden door handles to enhance aerodynamics and extend range, and 21-inch wheels.

    Additionally, the sedan boasts a large central display, wireless phone chargers, premium leather seats, and advanced radar sensors, with Huawei developing most of the vehicle's technological aspects.

    Huawei plans to launch the new luxury sedan in the summer of 2024, with prices ranging from $41,000 to $69,000 (approximately 153,000 to 258,000 SAR).
