In the UAE market, electric vehicle manufacturer LUCID is rapidly approaching the phase of delivering its first electric cars, which has heightened consumer anticipation to its peak. Discussions about the model and brand are fervently circulating on social media, and the latest optimistic financial data has only added to the excitement ahead of the actual delivery.

In Dubai, LUCID has established a dedicated 'studio' at its U.S. headquarters, significantly enhancing brand visibility. Now, all that remains is for the LUCID AIR model, starting at an introductory price of 299,000 AED, to hit the roads of the UAE, marking yet another significant milestone in the brand's growth journey.

Faisal Sultan, Vice President and Managing Director of LUCID Middle East, has provided an update to consumers and enthusiasts on what to expect from the upcoming models. He stated, 'In Saudi Arabia, we are not just capturing market share in the electric luxury car segment; over the past six months, I would say we are leading in this category.'

Regarding sales in the UAE, he remarked, 'We have certainly received numerous reservations, and in the coming months, cars will be launched. In fact, LUCID is in the final stages of scheduling the first deliveries. We operate on a direct-to-consumer sales model, whether in the U.S., Canada, or in the six markets we’re present in Europe, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai.' There will certainly be expansion in Abu Dhabi, both in sales and service. The expansion will continue, including a massive service center in Dubai. However, LUCID owners already have options where they can receive services through third-party providers.

LUCID is also doing its utmost to address some challenges that buyers believe come with electric vehicles, especially concerning range anxiety. We are able to provide them with a range of 838 kilometers on a single charge, which none of our competitors can match. Even considering heat loss and a lack of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, what LUCID AIR can achieve is substantial. Moreover, we also offer buyers free home chargers and even free installation.
