Significant progress has been made on road construction projects in the Al-Baha region, with two projects fully completed.

Significant progress has been made on road construction projects in the Al-Baha region, as the Saudi Arabian Public Roads Authority recently announced new road projects in the area. The agency stated that several road construction projects are underway to connect various parts of the region and support economic and tourism development.

This includes the completion of a 34-kilometer agricultural road with a total cost of 39 million Riyals, which has been fully completed. Another project involves a 22-kilometer road linking Beljershi to Aqiq, with a total investment of 219 million Riyals, also completed at 100%.

Additionally, an ongoing project to dualize the 4-kilometer Al-Makhwa-Al-Mujardah road has a total cost of 60 million Riyals, with a current completion rate of 65%. The fourth project involves a 23-kilometer road linking Al-Qari to Aqiq, with a total cost of 330 million Riyals and a completion rate of 56%.

Moreover, several vital road maintenance projects have been completed to enhance infrastructure efficiency and safety. The works included:
– Resurfacing damaged sections of the Baha Pass road over 2 kilometers, completed at 100%.
– Maintenance of the Baha-Taif road over 3 kilometers, also completed at 100%.
– Implementing safety measures along the Baha-Taif road over 1.7 kilometers, completed at 100%.
– Maintenance projects to remove rockslides and address black spots.
