The luxury automotive brand Cadillac has recently introduced its latest electric vehicle, the "Optiq," in the Chinese market. This relatively compact crossover features an eye-catching black front grille embedded with 114 LED lights, as well as headlights inspired by the larger Cadillac Lyriq. The 2025 Cadillac Optiq is equipped with rain-sensitive windshield wipers, a panoramic glass roof, and a power liftgate. With an overall length of 4,822 millimeters, it is 178 millimeters shorter than the Cadillac Lyriq. 
Advanced Digital Interior and Key Features of the 2025 Cadillac Optiq
The interior of the vehicle is highlighted by a massive 33-inch curved display, a heated leather steering wheel, and front seats that can both heat and ventilate. It also features a dual-zone automatic climate control system, ambient lighting with 126 different colors, a wireless phone charger, and a digital rearview camera among other amenities. 
Engines and Performance Figures
The new Cadillac Optiq will be available in two main variants. The first variant is equipped with a front motor producing 245 horsepower and 330 Nm of torque, offering a range of 536 kilometers on a single charge and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 7 seconds. The second, more advanced variant features two electric motors with a combined output of 287 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque, equipped with all-wheel drive and able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 6 seconds. This version comes with a larger battery that extends the range to 600 kilometers per charge. 
The new vehicle supports ultra-fast DC chargers that can recharge 60% of the battery in approximately half an hour. It also boasts a suite of the latest safety and driver assistance technologies, including early collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, Super Cruise technology for hands-free driving in specific conditions, and a heads-up display for navigation. ## Pricing in China The starting price for the 2025 Cadillac Optiq in China is 240,000 yuan, equivalent to approximately $33,000 or 123,000 Saudi riyals.
