Cherokee 2026: Modern Exterior with Classic Hints
Jeep designed the new Cherokee with a philosophy that blends heritage with modern flair. The front fascia carries a slimmer vertical grille paired with rectangular headlights inspired by the iconic Cherokee XJ. On the sides, hidden door handles and wheels ranging from 17 to 20 inches give a sleek profile, supported by Nexen or Pirelli tires. At the rear, connected taillights run across a full width illuminated Jeep badge, adding a bold finish that nods to past generations.
The updated dimensions give the SUV a stronger presence on the road:
Length: 4,778 mm (119 mm longer than before)
Width: 2,123 mm (25 mm wider)
Height: 1,715 mm (50 mm taller)
Wheelbase: 2,870 mm (163 mm longer)
These increases translate into greater stability and a more spacious interior.
A More Spacious Cabin with Advanced Technology
The interior of the new Cherokee takes inspiration from the Wagoneer S, blending luxury with modern technology. Key highlights include:
10.25 inch digital instrument cluster
12.3 inch central infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
Connect One package for ten years, offering over the air updates, emergency services, and Jeep app integration
Eco friendly materials such as vinyl instead of natural leather and recycled elements in the roof and flooring
In terms of space, rear legroom has slightly decreased from 1,023 mm to 977 mm, but this has been balanced with increases in:
Shoulder room by +64 mm
Hip room by +132 mm
Cargo capacity has also improved by 30 percent, now offering:
952 liters behind the second row
1,934 liters with the seats folded down
