The Hyundai Elantra N stands out in the compact sedan category with its powerful 286-horsepower turbocharged engine and exceptional driving experience, starting at $34,000. Now, Hyundai has launched the Elantra N TCR Edition, a special version inspired by touring car racing TCR.
The new car features a massive rear spoiler that cannot be overlooked, but there are no notable performance updates or engine modifications.
On the aesthetic side, the vehicle comes with a large carbon fiber spoiler and an adjustable aerodynamic wing designed to increase downforce at high speeds.
Other enhancements include 19-inch lightweight wheels that reduce the vehicle's weight for improved handling, along with a high-performance braking system to enhance stopping power.
Inside, it features a steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara and blue seatbelts adorned with TCR Edition logos. Unfortunately, the car does not offer any mechanical upgrades, retaining the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine found in the standard Elantra N with power ratings of 276 or 286 horsepower and equivalent torque.
The new model is set to launch in South Korea in December, with a global rollout planned for 2025, possibly debuting at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week.
