Geely's Lynk & Co 08 EM-P made its official debut on September 24, 2025, with upgraded autonomous driving features enabled by new LiDAR technology. The plug-in hybrid SUV is being offered at a promotional price ranging between 159,800 and 212,800 yuan ($22,200 to $29,600), making it highly competitive in its segment.

In terms of design, the refreshed Lynk & Co 08 EM-P retains the brand's signature style while incorporating sporty upgrades. These include an enlarged lower air intake and optimized side air channels for enhanced aerodynamic performance. The headlights have been revamped to feature 'brilliant starry sky' elements, and a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor enhances its driver assistance capabilities.

Sporty Side Profile Enhancements

The SUV's side profile remains mostly similar to its predecessor but boasts subtle refinements like updated wheel designs, two-tone body paint, and concealed door handles. New blue indicator lights under the side mirrors provide clearer alerts for advanced driver assistance functions, improving the vehicle's overall experience.

Dimensions and Stylish Exterior Colors

The vehicle measures 4,825mm in length, 1,915mm in width, and 1,660mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,848mm. Two new exterior finishes, Azure Blue and Flowing Gold, have been added to complement its sleek aesthetics. The rear design features full-width taillights and a darkened rear diffuser, creating a sportier appearance.

Upgraded Interior and Infotainment System

Inside, Lynk & Co has focused on refining details like the door panels, speaker covers, and door mechanisms. Storage compartments have been optimized, including the installation of a new hot/cold storage box in the center armrest. A redesigned center console provides increased storage space. The vehicle is equipped with the Lynk & Flyme Auto 2.0 infotainment system, offering a seamless digital experience.

Proven Powertrain Options

The updated 08 EM-P continues to offer its familiar powertrain options—a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system available in single-motor and dual-motor variants. The single-motor configuration delivers 280 kW (375 hp) of power and 615 Nm of torque, while the dual-motor setup boasts a remarkable 436 kW (585 hp) and 905 Nm. Depending on the variant, CLTC pure electric ranges include 160km, 210km, and 230km, ensuring flexibility for diverse driving needs.
