Lynk & Co has officially announced the launch of its 08 EM-P model in China, allowing buyers to choose from a total of five configurations with a price range between $28,400 and $39,200.
This mid-size SUV measures 4820/1915/1685 mm (length/width/height) and has a wheelbase of 2848 mm. It is designed based on Lynk & Co's design language “The Next Day”, featuring frameless doors and hidden door handles for a more modern look.
The closed front end features split headlights integrated with 32 LED lights and a black trapezoidal grille at the bottom. The rear has a distinctive design with unique taillights, a roof spoiler, and hidden exhaust.
Notably, there is a special edition of the car named 08 Time Limited Edition available exclusively in twilight crimson color, supported by 21-inch wheels.
Inside, the dashboard features a full 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 15.4-inch central control screen. It also comes with a 92-inch AR-HUD, powered by Meizu's Flyme Auto operating system.
Additional features include automatic climate control, voice recognition control, and ambient lighting. Higher-end models are also equipped with a level two advanced driver assistance system supported by five-millimeter radar and 10 cameras.
The Harman Kardon sound system, comprising 23 speakers, provides audio effects for various scenarios including “welcome”, “lock”, “turn signal”, “door open warning”, and “low-speed reminder”. All seats are wrapped in Nappa leather, with the front seats featuring standard heating, ventilation, and massage functions; the front passenger seat can recline up to 145 degrees, and the leg rest can be adjusted up to a maximum of 68 degrees.
The new vehicle is available in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive, equipped with a 1.5-liter hybrid system. The front-wheel-drive version is powered by a single engine producing 280 kW and 615 Nm of torque. The all-wheel-drive version features dual engines with a combined power of 436 kW and a maximum torque of 905 Nm, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.
Three battery packs are available with capacities of 21.2 kWh, 39.6 kWh, and 39.8 kWh, providing pure electric driving ranges of 120/245 km and 220 km for front-wheel and all-wheel drive respectively. It offers a total driving range of 1200 km and 1400 km with a full tank and full charge. Additionally, the vehicle supports fast charging, taking only about 28 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%.
