2024 Huawei AITO M9 in-depth Walkaround The 2024 AITO M9 is a mid-size all-wheel-drive SUV available in both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and range extender electric vehicle (EREV) variants. With dimensions of 5230 mm in length, 1999 mm in width, and 1800 mm in height, the M9 features a 3110 mm wheelbase and offers a ground clearance of 19 cm. This SUV combines robust performance with practical size, making it suitable for various driving conditions. In terms of powertrain, all AITO M9 variants are equipped with an all-wheel-drive system. The BEV version is particularly notable for its dual motor configuration, featuring a front motor rated at 160 kW and a rear motor at 230 kW. The battery for the BEV model is a substantial 97 kWh ternary lithium-ion pack, providing a range of 630 km (390 mi) and the capability to recharge to 80% in just 30 minutes using DC fast charging. The BEV version can reach a top speed of 200 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. The range extender version, specifically the H15RT model, includes a 1.5T range extender with a rated power of 112 kW, maintaining a top speed of 200 km/h. The AITO M9 is produced by the Chinese manufacturer Seres and incorporates several advanced technologies from Huawei. As of June 26, 2024, the starting price for the EREV variant was RMB 469,800 ($64,660), while the BEV variant began at RMB 509,800.
