MG has officially introduced the all-new MG3, its most budget-friendly model. This latest version boasts significant updates in aesthetics and technology, now powered by a hybrid engine that generates 194 horsepower.
Stylish Exterior and Enhanced Interior Space
The design of the MG3 is inspired by the latest MG5 and MG7 sedans, showcasing a bolder front fascia and a more athletic side profile.
With increased dimensions, the new MG3 offers a more spacious cabin and trunk, while its overall height has been slightly lowered compared to its predecessor.
Inside, the hatchback features a 10.25-inch infotainment display compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital dashboard, four USB ports, and a suite of safety technologies, including adaptive cruise control.
Innovative Hybrid Powertrain
Unlike the previous generation that exclusively offered an internal combustion engine, the new MG3 will come with a hybrid system designed to optimize fuel efficiency and performance. This system combines a 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with an electric motor, achieving a total output of 194 horsepower without needing a plug-in.
The MG3 also features a revamped suspension system that enhances steering precision, driving comfort, and sound insulation, positioning it as a direct competitor against Toyota Yaris, Renault Clio, Peugeot 208, and Hyundai i20 in global markets.
Pricing in Europe
The new hatchback is anticipated to start at £20,000 in the UK, roughly translating to 93,000 Saudi Riyals.
