Recently, the Aito brand partnered with Green Motors to officially launch the Seres 7 2024 model for sale in the UAE market. This model is known as the Aito M7 in the Chinese market and is available for sale in various configurations, including rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, with a choice of five or six seats, priced between 210,000 and 260,000 AED (approximately $57,200 to $70,800).
Specifically, the Seres 7 2024 model corresponds to the new Aito M7 Pro, differing by the absence of a rooftop lidar system. The new Aito M7 Ultra is equipped with a lidar system consisting of 192 units. In terms of safety, the vehicle offers several advanced driving assistance features, including front collision warning, blind spot detection, lane keeping assistance, and hill descent control.
At its recent brand launch event, Seres showcased its Seres 5 and Seres 7 models as part of Aito's external expansion plan. The dimensions of the Seres 7 2024 model are 5020mm (length) / 1945mm (width) / 1760mm (height) with a wheelbase of 2820mm. The vehicle’s empty weight is either 2370kg or 2460kg depending on the model configuration. The standard luggage capacity is 188 liters for the six-seat version and 686 liters for the five-seat version.
The rear-wheel drive version is powered by a 1.5-liter engine and a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a power output of 196 kW (263 hp) and torque of 354 Nm. The acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 7.8 seconds. The all-wheel drive version adds a front permanent magnet synchronous motor, making the combined system power 323 kW (433 hp) and torque 654 Nm, with an acceleration time of 4.8 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h, three seconds faster than the rear-wheel drive version. Both the rear-wheel and all-wheel drive versions have a fuel tank capacity of 60 liters and are equipped with 40 kWh lithium ternary batteries, providing a WLTP range of 1150 km and 1050 km respectively.
New Interior Design of Aito M7
The cockpit features a full 10.25-inch LCD dashboard and a 15.6-inch 2K central control screen. Additionally, it supports wireless charging, ambient lighting, an 11-speaker Seres sound system, and front seats that are electrically adjustable in 12 directions with Apple CarPlay compatibility.
In September, Aito sold a total of 35,560 new vehicles, a month-on-month increase of 13.9%. Its total sales for the first nine months of 2024 were approximately 289,508 vehicles.
