Voyah continues to strengthen its position in the premium electric vehicle segment with a refreshed version of its popular SUV, now named the Voyah FREE+. Pre-orders are expected to begin in June, and the updated model introduces major changes, particularly in the interior and onboard technology. It now comes equipped with Huawei’s HarmonyOS 5.0 system, along with the advanced Qiankun ADS 4 intelligent driving platform.

A Premium Cabin that Merges Elegance with Technology

The interior of the Voyah Free+ reflects a modern design direction, where light toned materials dominate to create a sense of spaciousness and serenity. Technological features are seamlessly integrated through a floating digital instrument cluster, a large central touchscreen, and a head-up display (HUD), all combining to deliver a sophisticated and immersive driving experience.

The HarmonyOS Cockpit 5.0 enhances smart connectivity by offering features like the Super Desktop, Huawei Share, and one touch screen mirroring, along with a rich selection of interactive themes. A newly designed three spoke steering wheel and a column mounted gear selector provide the driver with precise control and a contemporary feel.

The center console has been completely redesigned to include dual 50 watt wireless charging pads for smartphones, thoughtfully arranged storage spaces, and a dual-sided opening armrest box. Entertainment is elevated by a fully integrated audio system featuring 22 speakers that support 7.1.4 surround sound, including speakers in the headrests and ambient lighting integrated with the central speaker.

To ensure comfort for rear passengers, seat cushions and headrests have been extended, complemented by a dedicated air conditioning control screen and rear air vents. The back of the front passenger seat includes a port for screen expansion, while all four doors open electronically at the touch of a button and close softly, adding another layer of luxury to everyday use.

Refined Exterior and Advanced Tech Features

The Voyah Free+ stands out with distinct exterior updates that emphasize its modern electric identity. It features a closed front grille seamlessly integrated with a sleek black trim connecting the headlights, creating a bold and refreshed look. The front bumper is styled with smooth lines and dark decorative elements, adding a contemporary, elegant touch. At the rear, the SUV retains its original taillight design, while the reshaped bumper introduces a more luxurious and refined appearance.

Compared to the previous model, the Voyah Free+ has slightly grown in size, now measuring 4915 mm in length, 1960 mm in width, and 1660 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2960 mm. These subtle increases enhance the vehicle’s road presence and overall stability.

Voyah Free+ also embraces cutting edge driving assistance technology, featuring a roof mounted lidar sensor along with strategically placed cameras on the fenders and rear spoiler. These components are integrated into Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 4 intelligent driving system, which is offered in four versions. The most advanced among them, ADS Ultra, includes Level 3 autonomous driving capabilities specifically designed for highway use.

Hybrid Powertrain with Extended Electric Range

The Voyah Free+ relies on an extended range electric powertrain that combines a traditional internal combustion engine with high performance electric motors, delivering a balanced blend of power and efficiency. Under the hood, the vehicle features a 1.5 liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing a net output of 95 kW (127 hp), paired with multiple electric motor configurations.

In the front wheel drive version, the Voyah Free+ is powered by a single electric motor generating 215 kW (289 hp), offering strong acceleration and a smooth driving experience. The all wheel drive variant distributes output across two motors, with 135 kW (182 hp) at the front and 215 kW (289 hp) at the rear, ensuring enhanced traction and control across varied road conditions.

The SUV is equipped with a 43.2 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery that supports different electric only driving ranges depending on the drivetrain. The front wheel drive model offers a range between 225 and 235 kilometers, while the all wheel drive version delivers between 190 and 196 kilometers of pure electric driving. This makes it a practical option for daily commutes and longer trips within the city or on highways.

With this integrated system that blends cutting edge engineering and reliable performance, the Voyah Free+ establishes itself as a refined contender in the premium electric SUV segment, offering a driving experience that meets the expectations of GCC region drivers seeking advanced technology and sophisticated performance.
