For over seven decades, the Aston Martin Vantage has stood as a symbol of luxury and performance in the automotive world. First introduced in 2018, the current generation has now received a remarkable facelift, bringing forth profound mechanical enhancements.
Remarkable Engine Performance Boost
The Vantage's 4.0-liter V8 engine, sourced from Mercedes, now generates an impressive 665 horsepower—an exhilarating increase of 153 horsepower over its predecessor. This enhancement is achieved through larger turbochargers and an upgraded oil cooler, positioning the Vantage as a true powerhouse.
Coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF, the engine delivers power to the rear wheels through an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. The facelifted Vantage can accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in a mere 3.4 seconds, with a top speed reaching 325 km/h, embodying Aston Martin's commitment to performance.
Enhanced Chassis and Braking Systems
The chassis has undergone significant refinements to improve stability and rigidity, complemented by an upgraded suspension system that enhances steering precision. These changes are designed to elevate the driving experience, ensuring maximum enjoyment behind the wheel.
Additionally, buyers can opt for carbon ceramic brakes, which reduce the vehicle's weight by approximately 27 kg. Aston Martin has also implemented extensive updates to the vehicle's software and systems, including enhancements to Launch Control and Traction Control, optimizing performance and responsiveness.
Deliveries of the new Vantage facelift are set to commence in the second quarter of 2024, with global pricing details to be revealed shortly.
