Recently, the 2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring electric vehicle has drawn attention with its range of 804 km. In tests conducted in the USA, its range was evaluated at 824 km, verified by specialists. The test results indicate that this luxury electric sedan can achieve this range while maintaining a constant speed of 112 km/h.

However, in real-world driving, the actual range is often lower than the official figures due to the reduced strain on electric motors and batteries at lower speeds. Lucid's CEO Peter Rawlinson recently boasted that the company's models outpace competitors in terms of efficiency, and the 2025 update has increased the range by 8 km for the base model.

In real-world conditions, while achieving this range might be challenging, the actual numbers can be close to it. During the range test with 19-inch wheels, the Grand Touring version achieved an energy efficiency of 7 km/kWh, better than the EPA figures of 6.11 km/kWh at 26 kWh/160 km. The total energy consumption recorded by the vehicle's trip computer was 118 kWh.

The test began with charging the battery to 100% and activating climate control. The seat heating and cooling functions were turned off, and the cruise control was set to 112 km/h. As a result, the car lost power after traveling approximately 820 km at that speed, but it finally came to a stop at 843 km.

For the 2025 model, the vehicle comes standard with a heat pump across all variants, along with enhanced infotainment system power.
