Hyundai is expanding its lineup with new SUV and crossover models, with the latest addition being the "Inster." This vehicle is essentially the fully electric version of the compact Hyundai Casper crossover, designed for urban driving and set to launch in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
Key Features of the 2025 Hyundai Inster
The Inster includes wheel sizes from 15 to 17 inches and boasts a design aesthetic similar to the internal combustion engine version of the Casper available in Korea. Its compact dimensions—3825 mm in length, 1610 mm in width, and 1575 mm in height—make it ideal for city driving.
Inside, you will find a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a matching digital instrument panel, wireless phone charging, 64-color ambient LED lighting, a sunroof, and an array of advanced safety and driver-assistance technologies.
With a storage capacity of 280 liters that expands to 351 liters when the rear seats are folded, the Inster offers practical space for daily use. Now, let's look at its performance specifications.
Performance and Electric Range
The base model of the Hyundai Inster will be powered by a single electric motor producing 97 horsepower and 147 Nm of torque, offering a driving range of 300 kilometers per charge.
The higher-end version will feature a more robust electric motor generating 115 horsepower, along with a larger battery that allows for a range of 355 kilometers per charge. Additionally, the vehicle supports rapid DC charging, which can recharge 70% of the battery in just half an hour.
The compact crossover Inster is scheduled to make its debut in Korea this summer, with further launches planned in other global markets, including the Middle East.
