This extended range electric SUV represents a bold new chapter in Chery’s strategy to expand in Gulf markets, particularly in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

A Design That Blends Retro Looks with Modern Details

The iCAUR V23 embraces a design inspired by classic off road vehicles, enhanced with modern styling cues that give it a bold and youthful identity. Its matte front grille and round headlights stand out, complemented by clean, boxy lines that emphasize its rugged presence on the road. Additional touches like roof racks and an external rear storage box add to its adventurous appeal. The V23 is offered in six vibrant color options, ranging from orange to silver, to cater to a variety of personal styles.

The iCAUR 03T, meanwhile, builds upon the foundation of the iCAUR 03 but takes a bolder, tougher approach. It features more prominent front bumpers, distinct side air intakes, and wheel options up to 19 inches. Design tweaks at the front and rear further set it apart, including repositioned badging and unique rear light clusters that enhance its robust character.

Technical Capabilities Designed for GCC Driving Conditions

The iCAUR V23 delivers impressive performance figures for a compact SUV, measuring 4,220 mm in length, 2,735 mm in wheelbase, and 1,845 mm in height. It offers excellent off road geometry, with approach angles up to 43 degrees, departure angles up to 41 degrees, and a ground clearance of 210 mm for the all wheel drive variant. Buyers can choose from three powertrain configurations: a rear wheel drive version with 134 horsepower and a 301 km range, a long range RWD model offering up to 401 km, and a dual motor AWD version with 211 horsepower and a range of 501 km. All variants support fast charging from 30 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes, and they also include a 3.3 kW external discharge feature for powering external devices.

Meanwhile, the iCAUR 03T is slightly larger, with a body length ranging from 4,380 mm to 4,433 mm, a width of 1,916 mm, and a height of 1,741 mm, all riding on a 2,715 mm wheelbase. It features well balanced approach and departure angles for daily urban and off road use. The AWD version equipped with the iWD intelligent drive system offers a towing capacity of up to 1,600 kg. It uses lithium iron phosphate batteries from CATL and can deliver a driving range of over 500 km depending on the trim. Both rear wheel and all wheel drive configurations are available, with top tier models reaching up to 135 kW of power.

iCAUR V27: Global Debut in Dubai for the New Range Extended Electric SUV

The iCAUR V27 is capturing attention as the brand’s first ever range extended electric SUV, making its global debut at the upcoming launch event in Dubai. With a commanding length of nearly 4.9 meters, this large crossover boasts a bold, boxy exterior with massive bumpers and wide fender arches, giving it a strong visual presence reminiscent of models like the G-Class and Land Cruiser, but with a modern electric twist.

Up front, the V27 features rectangular headlights with integrated circular LED running lights, while the rear stands out with a side hinged tailgate that includes an external storage box. Under the hood, the V27 is powered by an EREV (Extended Range Electric Vehicle) system that combines a pure electric drive range of 200 km with a 1.5 liter turbocharged gasoline engine acting as a generator. Both rear wheel drive and all wheel drive versions are expected to be offered. In China, pricing is anticipated to fall between 27,700 and 34,700 USD (101,742 - 127,453 AED), with a future launch in GCC markets already in the pipeline.
