Saudi Arabia to Host Road Safety and Sustainability Conference

The Saudi Public Roads Authority has announced that it will organize the Road Safety and Sustainability Conference in the capital city of Riyadh. The event will take place from November 3 to 4, 2024. The acting CEO of the authority, Badr Al-Dulami, stated that their goal is to build a platform for exchanging experiences and knowledge among specialists and stakeholders in the road sector. He welcomed the world to the capital, Riyadh.

This conference will outline the future of the global road sector by adopting the latest global technologies and best practices. It will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh in partnership with the International Road Union. The conference is themed “Innovating for Tomorrow.”

The goals of the conference include:
Facilitating the exchange of experiences and knowledge among specialists and stakeholders in the road sector.
Showcasing the latest innovations, technologies, and solutions to reduce carbon emissions.
Focusing on international best practices in the road sector.
Addressing rapid technological advancements, particularly in artificial intelligence and transport systems.
