On the grand stage of the automotive industry, Ford's agent—Al-Jazirah Vehicles Agencies in Saudi Arabia—has once again claimed glory.
Technician Shihab Aziz has emerged victorious in the 2024 Technical Skills Competition, earning the top spot in the Middle East. This prestigious event was organized by Ford Motor Company in Dubai, held at a vehicle testing center located in Jebel Ali.
In this technical contest, Ford teams from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait competed fiercely, with the top three technicians ranking as follows:
1- Shihab Shanbily Aziz from Al-Jazirah Vehicles in Saudi Arabia
2- Hassan Ali from Al Mana Automotive in Qatar
3- Sarat Babu from Al Ghanim Automotive in Kuwait
The competition drew more than 100 spectators, with Ford teams from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, and Bahrain coming together to showcase their skills. After the event, Ravi Ravichandran, President of Ford Middle East, remarked that technicians are the backbone of Ford, emphasizing that the competition is not merely a display of skills, but a testament to hard work, training, and commitment.
