2023 Roewe D7 EV in-depth Walkaround
The Roewe D7, a mid-size sedan from SAIC, has made its official debut in China, and its exterior design bears a striking resemblance to the Nio ET series. The front of the Roewe D7 showcases a typical electric vehicle design with slender headlights and a closed grille, prominently featuring the Roewe logo at its center. There's speculation that the lower front may be equipped with lidar technology.
Moving to the side, the Roewe D7 incorporates concealed door handles for a sleek appearance. At the rear, the car features slender taillights and a slightly raised ducktail design, enhancing its sporty aesthetics. Notably, the Roewe logo is replaced by the brand's letters.
Based on SAIC's Nebula platform, the Roewe D7 boasts dimensions of 4890/1872/1510mm, a wheelbase of 2810mm, and front and rear trunk space totaling 447 liters. Roewe claims that even adults with a height of 1.8 meters can enjoy 116mm of knee space while seated in the second row.
In terms of features, the Roewe D7 is well-equipped with a sunroof, side rear radar, side front radar, rear radar, and front radar. Regarding power options, the Roewe D7 offers two choices, both featuring a single motor. The motor's maximum power output is 145 kW and 155 kW, paired with lithium iron phosphate and ternary lithium batteries, respectively. These configurations provide an impressive CLTC comprehensive cruising range of 510 km and 610 km, with a top speed of 170 km/hr.
